When
writing what we hope will be a page-turning book, we tend to put the majority of
emphasis on character, plot and conflict. But with a little attention to
fundamental structure, you can get a "big story," literary feel even when
writing a category or novella and turn an ordinary story into a keeper that
reveals something new each time the reader returns to it.
